The activities and events of the winter 2025–2026 season in Méribel
We welcome you to the Hôtel AlpenRuitor, right in the heart of Méribel Mottaret, until Monday, 6th April, 2026. A wonderful winter season awaits, filled with events and activities organized by both the resort and the 3 Valleys ski area.
The opening and new features of the 3 Valleys ski area
The 3 Valleys ski area, the largest ski area in the world, is open from 6th December, 2025, to 17th April, 2026.
Thanks to the ski area’s snow guarantee, you’ll find optimal snow conditions throughout the season, no matter your travel dates, to enjoy skiing and the many activities offered across the 3 Valleys.
For those familiar with Méribel, this season your skiing experience will be even better with new, higher-performance gondolas at the Rhodos (ideal for families, beginners, and ski schools), as well as at Côte Brune, just a few steps from our Alpine House. The new Côte Brune gondola will offer a smoother connection between the valleys and increased capacity.
The Holiday Season in Méribel
From 21st to 25th December, Christmas celebrations light up the resort with parades, shows, live music, and of course, a visit from Santa Claus.
On 25th December, experience a torchlight descent followed by a fireworks display on the La Chaudanne snowfront.
For New Year’s Eve, an open-air nightclub awaits you at La Chaudanne, featuring a show by La Folie Douce followed by a DJ set.
Keep the celebrations going until 8th January with a jazz festival bringing together renowned artists.
From 26th to 30th January, you’ll also be able to attend a Paralympic Alpine Skiing World Cup event on Méribel’s challenging slopes.
February Holidays in Méribel
In February, especially during the French school holidays, numerous events await both children and adults.
Among them: children’s shows, a night session at the ice rink on February 19th, and live screenings of the Milan Winter Olympics.
March in Méribel
In March, cinema takes center stage in Méribel, starting with the Xplore Alpes Festival on 10th March, which celebrates the world of outdoor sports, followed by the Riders Film Festival on 20th March, where 10 teams of riders will showcase their ski and snowboard films.
On 17th March, don’t miss St. Patrick’s Day, featuring a concert at The Rambler, just a few steps from our hotel.
The end of the season in Méribel
At the end of the season, DJs will make you groove during Soundclash, a major outdoor music festival where French and British DJs face off and play back-to-back from opposite ends of Place Maurice Front in Méribel Centre.
