Located at 1,750 m (5,741 ft) of altitude at the heart of the world’s largest ski area, the Hotel AlpenRuitor stands at the crossing of the ski slopes in the Méribel-Mottaret ski resort, offering a splendid view over the Vallée de Méribel. Within the hotel, you’ll find a fine restaurant open at any time of day to the delight of visitors of the 3 Valleys area.
Our New Chef – Mathieu Canguilhem
From winter 2025-2026, La Table du Ruitor welcomes back Chef Mathieu Canguilhem, who had already led the kitchen between 2016 and 2019. Based for many years between Méribel and Courchevel, he returns with a gourmet cuisine that is refined, generous, and inspired by alpine tradition, crafted from fresh and high-quality ingredients.
Ideally located on the slopes of Méribel-Mottaret, this restaurant enchants diners with an elegant and flavorful menu, perfect for a sunny terrace lunch or a convivial evening after skiing.
True must-visit in Méribel, La Table du Ruitor, known for its authentic, generous, and local flavors, and the Savoyard Restaurant, dedicated to timeless mountain classics, are both managed and orchestrated by Mathieu Canguilhem and his brigade.

Whether it’s 7:30 a.m. or noon, whether it’s 4 p.m. or 10 p.m., the AlpenRuitor offers a full array of local products prepared by a chef with a passion for the mountains.
Whenever you’re tempted or whenever you get a craving, you may choose from a rich, varied, and tasty “homemade” selection:
- The Breakfast chalet is open for our guests from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- La Table du Ruitor**, open to all for lunch & dinner, offers an authentic, appetizing cuisine accompanied by perfectly paired wines that sweep you away on a culinary voyage through the 3 Valleys area.
For lunch, sit on our sunny terrace facing the slopes and enjoy the scenery.
For dinner, we welcome you inside for a cosy evening around a refined menu. - The Crepe chalet opens you up to a world of delights from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., both for our guests and external visitors.
The menu includes classic crepes, but if you’re feeling adventurous, we offer specialties such as the chestnut creme crepe. - Each afternoon from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, our lounge welcomes our guests for a complimentary afternoon pastry buffet featuring a generous selection of pastries: a warm and delightful way to unwind after skiing.
- The Savoyard restaurant opens its doors at 7 p.m. to offer you a convivial, gourmet evening. The restaurant menu gives you the choice to (re)discover Savoyard specialties and local wines that are as delicious as they are original.
- The bar du Ruitor is open from morning to evening for you to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or prolong the evening with a cocktail prepared by our barmen.
**For half-board stays, your meal is automatically reserved and served at La Table du Ruitor every evening, where you can enjoy our daily menu.
All our restaurants offer seasonal dishes, made with local products, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
La Table du Ruitor – Gourmet Lunch and Dinner in Méribel
La Table du Ruitor in Méribel offers a refined culinary experience from lunch to dinner. Enjoy gourmet dishes and generous cuisine in a warm and elegant setting, in the heart of the 3 Valleys. At lunchtime, our south-facing terrace is the perfect spot for a relaxing break between ski runs.

Each evening, savor the icons of Alpine gastronomy — fondue, raclette, tartiflette and mountain specialties — crafted from exceptional local ingredients. A warm, inviting ambiance for an authentic dinner at the very heart of the 3 Valleys.
A bar-restaurant under the sun of Méribel-Mottaret
The Hotel AlpenRuitor also offers a bar located at the foot of the slopes of the 3 Valleys area, open from morning until late in the evening. Seated on the sunny terrace of the bar or in front of the fireplace of the hotel living area, enjoy a choice of delicious cocktails – alcoholic or non-alcoholic –, spirits, wines from our French selection, or simply a coffee from Illy, our responsible coffee partner.
After a day on the slopes, a festive atmosphere awaits you for the après-ski, with plenty of entertainment throughout the week.
Take a break & have a snack
Every day from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., we offer for free a generous, freshly prepared, typically French pastry buffet in the hotel living area, reserved for the Hôtel AlpenRuitor’s guests.
According to your tastes and whims, choose from delicious tarts, cakes, biscuits, cookies, and other delicacies prepared by the AlpenRuitor Pastry Chef. If you would like to accompany this delicious afternoon snack with a coffee or hot chocolate, the bartender would be delighted to serve you a warm cup.
Hotel guests and visitors alike are invited to enjoy a gourmet pause at the Crêpe Chalet. Indulge in sweet and savory crêpes, freshly prepared in a warm, traditional setting, to be savored indoors or taken away at the foot of the slopes.

The Hôtel AlpenRuitor**** in Méribel-Mottaret offers a Half-Board Package designed for a serene and gourmet mountain getaway. This offer includes every day a generous breakfast prepared with local products, a buffet of homemade pastries served every afternoon, and a gourmet four-course dinner at La Table du Ruitor.
